Method
Step 1: Place the chickpeas in a mixer
Step 2: Once mixed add sesame paste and mix
Step 3: Add the chopped garlic and olive oil and mix well until you have a thick paste
Step 4: Add the lemon and seasoning as your choice and mix well again
Step 5: Once the mixture becomes a mashie substance it is ready, it shouldn’t be too thick or too thin
Step 6: Once the mixture is ready serve on a plate on top you put red pepper, chopped parsley and a bit of olive oil. You can also add some olives on top for decoration this again is a personal choice
Humus can be enjoyed next to chicken or meat dishes along with any meze and dip dishes.
